How we started...
In 1946, Charles Broadbent, a Canadian optometrist, opened an optical store in Kingston, Jamaica, starting the Broadbent eye care legacy. Although he later sold the business, the name 'Broadbent' remained a hallmark of quality vision care.
The company grew, establishing branches in Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Port Antonio, and Portmore, offering services from skilled ophthalmologists and optometrists. Each location provides a variety of frames, premium lenses, and contact lenses, supported by a dedicated team of over 40 professionals.
Broadbent also engages in community outreach, partnering with the Lion's Club on the Sight Foundation project. Over the years, it has become a trusted name for eye care among Jamaicans.
